How to view Microseven camera video with Mozilla Firefox?

Step1    Installing Firefox add-ons for IE (Internet Explorer)

  1. Open Mozilla Firefox browser, use URL https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419, and then you will see the following page.

  2. Click on “Add to Firefox (Windows)” button, the following installation dialog will be popped up.

  3. Then, click on “Install Now” button to install IE Tab add-ons.

  4. When installation is finished, click on “Restart Firefox” button to restart Firefox browser.

Step2     View Microseven camera video with Firefox browser

  1. Type your camera IP address in URL field and then it will lead you to camera login page.
  2. Right-click anywhere on the page to bring up pop menu, and select “View Page in IE Tab“.

    Firefox icon at the status bar will be changed to IE Icon.

  3. Then, click on “Login” button to go to camera control panel page.

    I have a version of fire fox that won’t let it download the add on :(

    The add on is  Not available for Firefox 8.0.1

    In my case the add  is installed, but when I try connect using login: admin and password: password, anything happen and the homepage stay frozen. What is happening? When I try in Internet explorer the same thing happen, even with activex installed.

      Please use M7CMS first to check camera status, then go to internet browsers. To configure camera properties, the only trying is on Internet Explorer. I refer for using M7CMS, if goes for browsers, I prefer to use M7LIVE, then you have to have M7LIVE server installed.
