Port Forwarding on Belkin Routers

The following example is 3 cameras, for port forwarding. And there are 3 IP address for cameras:
192.168.2.201 for first camera.
192.168.2.202 for second camera.
192.168.2.203 for third camera.

  1. Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your Belkin router in the address bar of your browser.
  2. *** Please read our Default IP Address and Admin Password of Popular Routers to find your router default IP address and login password.

  3. Enter your username and password, then click the ‘OK’ button to log in to your router.
  4. Click on ‘Firewall’ > ‘Virtual Server’.
  5. Enter the following values for 3 cams:

    Cam1
    - Checked ‘Enable’ for the current virtual server
    - ‘Description’ is ‘cam1′
    - ‘Inbound port’ is from ’81′ to ’81′
    - ‘Type’ is ‘Both’
    - ‘Private IP address’ is ’192.168.2.201′
    - ‘Private port’ is from ’81′ to ’81′

    cam1-video
    - Checked ‘Enable’ for the current virtual server
    - ‘Description’ is ‘cam1-video’
    - ‘Inbound port’ is from ’9660′ to ’9665′
    - ‘Type’ is ‘Both’
    - ‘Private IP address’ is ’192.168.2.201′
    - ‘Private port’ is from ’9660′ to ’9665′

    Cam2
    - Checked ‘Enable’ for the current virtual server
    - ‘Description’ is ‘cam2′
    - ‘Inbound port’ is from ’82′ to ’82′
    - ‘Type’ is ‘Both’
    - ‘Private IP address’ is ’192.168.2.202′
    - ‘Private port’ is from ’82′ to ’82′

    cam2-video
    - Checked ‘Enable’ for the current virtual server
    - ‘Description’ is ‘cam2-video’
    - ‘Inbound port’ is from ’9670′ to ’9675′
    - ‘Type’ is ‘Both’
    - ‘Private IP address’ is ’192.168.2.202′
    - ‘Private port’ is from ’9670′ to ’9675′

    Cam3
    - Checked ‘Enable’ for the current virtual server
    - ‘Description’ is ‘cam3′
    - ‘Inbound port’ is from ’83′ to ’83′
    - ‘Type’ is ‘Both’
    - ‘Private IP address’ is ’192.168.2.203′
    - ‘Private port’ is from ’83′ to ’83′

    cam1-video
    - Checked ‘Enable’ for the current virtual server
    ‘Description’ is ‘cam3-video’
    - ‘Inbound port’ is from ’9680′ to ’9685′
    - ‘Type’ is ‘Both’
    ‘Private IP address’ is ’192.168.2.203′
    - ‘Private port’ is from ’9680′ to ’9685′

  6. Click ‘Apply Changes’ button to save the settings.

Port Forwarding on 2Wire Router

The following example is 3 cameras, for port forwarding. And there are 3 IP address for cameras:
192.168.1.201 for first camera.
192.168.1.202 for second camera.
192.168.1.203 for third camera.

  1. Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your 2Wire router in the address bar of your browser.
  2. *** Please read our Default IP Address and Admin Password of Popular Routers to find your router default IP address and login password.

  3. Enter your username and password, then click the ‘OK’ button to log in to your router.
  4. Click on ‘Firewall’ Tab and then click ‘Firewall Settings’.
  5. Click on ‘Add a new user-defined application’.
  6. Enter the following values for cam1 web port:

    - ‘Application Name’ is ‘cam1′
    - ‘Protocol’ is ‘TCP’
    - ‘Port (or Range)’ is from ’81′ to ’81′

  7. Click ‘Add DEFINITION’ button.
  8. Repeat Step 5-6, setup for cam1 video port.
    - ‘Application Name’ is ‘cam1-video’
    - ‘Protocol’ is ‘TCP’
    - ‘Port (or Range)’ is from ’9660′ to ’9665′

  9. Click ‘Add DEFINITION’ button.
  10. Click ‘Back’ button back to the next page.
  11. Enter the following values for cam1.
    - for ‘Select a computer’, choose ’192.168.1.201′ from the drop down box
    - Choose ‘Allow individual application(s)’
    - Choose ‘User-defined’ from drop down box
    - In the list on the left choose ‘cam1′ and ‘cam1-video’, then click ‘Add’ button to add them to ‘Hosted Application’ list

  12. Click ‘Done’ button to finish cam1 setup.

  13. Repeat step 3 to step 11, finish cam2 and cam3 port forwarding setup.

The following example is 3 cameras, for port forwarding. And there are 3 IP address for cameras:
192.168.1.201 for first camera.
192.168.1.202 for second camera.
192.168.1.203 for third camera.

  1. Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your D-Link router in the address bar of your browser.
  2. *** Please read our Default IP Address and Admin Password of Popular Routers to find your router default IP address and login password.

  3. Enter your username and password, then click the ‘OK’ button to log in to your router.
  4. Click on ‘Advanced’ Tab and then click ‘Virtual Server’.
  5. Enter the following values for cam1:
    - Click ‘Enabled’
    - ‘Name’ is ‘cam1′
    - ‘Private IP’ is ’192.168.1.201′
    - ‘Protocol Type’ is ‘TCP’
    - ‘Private Port’ is ’81′
    - ‘Public Port’ is ’81′
    - ‘Schedule’ is ‘Always’

  6. Click ‘Apply’ button to add ‘cam1′ to Virtual Server list.

  7. Enter the following values for cam1:
    - Click ‘Enabled’
    - ‘Name’ is ‘cam1-video-port1′
    - ‘Private IP’ is ’192.168.1.201′
    - ‘Protocol Type’ is ‘TCP’
    - ‘Private Port’ is ’9660′
    - ‘Public Port’ is ’9660′
    - ‘Schedule’ is ‘Always’

  8. Click ‘Apply’ button to add ‘cam1-video-port1′ to Virtual Server list.

  9. Enter the following values for cam1:
    - Click ‘Enabled’
    - ‘Name’ is ‘cam1-video-port2′
    - ‘Private IP’ is ’192.168.1.201′
    - ‘Protocol Type’ is ‘TCP’
    - ‘Private Port’ is ’9661′
    - ‘Public Port’ is ’9661′
    - ‘Schedule’ is ‘Always’

  10. Click ‘Apply’ button to add ‘cam1-video-port2′ to Virtual Server list.

  11. Repeat from step 4 to step 9, add more virtual servers for cam2 and cam3.
