Steps to configure M7-GN2 wireless bridge

  1. Enter http://192.168.1.230 in the browser address bar,go to the following device information page
    M7-GN2 Device Information
  2. Choose Wireless tab to go to current device configuration page
    M7-GN2 Wireless Setup
    1. Wireless Mode, pull drop list and select ‘Access Point WDS’
    2. In WDS Peers, enter the corresponding MAC address of the remote device(s). If there are several remote devices, enter the MAC address for these several devices.
      The figure is shown there are three slave devices, and MAC are: 00:15:6d:5b:a9:69,00:15:6d:5b:a9:6a and 00:15:6d:5b:a9:6b
    3. Enter SSID
    4. Country Code should be current location. We are in United States, then we select United States
    5. Frequency List, set to Enable, click the Edit button, enter the following page, select Frequency in the list
      M7-GN2 Frequency Select on Wireless Setup
    6. Wireless Security – Security set to ‘None’
    7. Click the Change button to complete the setup
  3. Select the Network, to go to the network configuration page
    M7-GN2 Network Configuration
    1. Network Mode to set to ‘Bridge’(Attention: must not be set to ‘Router’)
    2. Bridge IP Address to set to ‘Static’
    3. Device default IP Address is 192.168.1.230. It can be modified by new IP address.
    4. Enter Netmask, Gateway IP
    5. Click on ‘Change’ to complete the set up.
  4. Repeat 2-3,complete other three slave devices Wireless and Network set up
    Three slave devices, the IP Addresses are 192.168.1.232, 192.168.1.232, 192.168.1.233
    ***Attention: master and slave devices IP address should be on the same network segment

M7-PTZDWS-22X optional zoom PTZ network camera OSD menu info

This post is only for optional zoom PTZ network camera OSD menu info.
You may help OSD menu – M7-PTZDWS-22X, the following snapshot will help to use OSD menu.
Preset number of OSD menu is 57.
You input 57 on preset number field, then click on RECALL button, then OSD menu will pop up.
After popup console menu on OSD. You will find control button assicioate with control of OSD menu.

Steps to view camera with M7LIVE

  1. Connect camera router or switch in your local area network (LAN)
  2. To find camera in your network using Microseven M7 cam locator
    Find camera with M7 cam locator
  3. View camera in Microseven M7CMS software

  4. Check camera RTSP port to see if it is opened, default RTSP port number is 554
  5. To set camera RTSP port to 554 using M7CMS by chick on properties, click on Apply

  6. When you finish it, go to download M7LIVE software program from download menu on www.microseven.com

  7. After you downloaded it, then to install M7LIVE on your PC or server, and follow the steps and click next. If you have Activation Key, IP address and RTSP ports different than default numbers, you can modify them during the installation. By click Finish to complete your installation of M7LIVE

  8. Go to you current PC or server to open port 1935, port 7000 from Windows Firewall. To make sure you make current PC or server as static IP in your LAN network

  9. Then you go to your router to do port forwarding on port 1935 (RTMP port), port 7000, here is the example, assuming your PC static IP is 192.168.1.15, then you will do port forwarding port 1935 (RTMP port) and port 7000 to 192.168.1.15

  10. Go to get your Internet IP address from your router, or go to URL http://www.whatismyip.com to find the Internet IP address
  11. Setup your camera on tool www.microseven.tv to get html script code
    Login to microseven.tv
  12. For M7Live single camera version
    Login to microseven.tv
    1. Add your camera to microseven.tv
      - Set camera configuration parameters
      You need to input, must full these fields:
      1. Camera ID [It will be automatically created by system for M7LIVE licensed version]
      2. Display name
      3. Do you want camera video to shared or not shared ( public or private)
      4. View status Display Enable or Disable on microseven.tv [for M7LIVE licensed version]
      5. M7LIVE server [PC or server] Internet IP address, or you can use domain name for this Internet IP address
      6. M7LIVE server [PC or server] RTMP port 1935 as default
      7. M7LIVE server [PC or server] Microseven communication port 7000
      8. Camera Internet IP address, or you can use domain name for this Internet IP address [for M7LIVE licensed version]
      9. Camera RTSP port default 554 port [for M7LIVE licensed version]
      10. Max connection from Internet users [for M7LIVE licensed version]
      11. You need a URL which is for all the devices where it has Internet browser

      When you finish, you need to click on Save to save all the settings

    2. You can add a description (camera info) the camera
      Set Live Info
    3. Click on Save to save your settings, and it will direct you to camera list page

      The camera is in the list, it displays in the following:
      • Camera name
      • Camera info – M7LIVE Server version #, M7LIVE IP/Domain, RTMP Port, Camera ID
      • View Status
      • Shared Status
      • Current Views
      • Bitrate in/out
      • Max Connection
      • Total Views
      • Post Date
      • Action – View, Settings …, Delete
  13. For M7LIVE multiple camera version (licensed version):
    1. Allow you add more than one camera using add new button

    2. You will have all the list of live camera video in the list after you added them

  14. Click View in the table, you can view live video from camera with www.microseven.tv

  15. You can now copy and paste this camera embed html script code to any websites

iPad and iPhone app to view M7LIVE flash streaming video – iswifter

Go to App Store, search for iswifter
To get it installed.
Notes: you do not have to subscriber it. This program is to make Flash video display on iPad, iPhone.
I have snapshots attached, may help you.

Sonicwall router/firewall will block video streaming

Any Sonicwall router/firewall will block video streaming. If you have such firewall, you need to install camera(s) outside your Sonicwall firewall.
