Microseven M7CMS full version 3.46 (released on 5/24/2013)

Added a display note when it is switched from one group to other. When it is processing, each camera needs 10 seconds to go offline. If you have 16 cameras in M7CMS, it will take you about 2 minutes. The good thing is that it is cleaning caches from your CPU and memory in computer; it will make your computer running fast.

User Guide of Microseven M7CMS for iPhone

Step 1     Download M7CMS from app store, then install M7CMS on your iPhone.

  1. Go to Apple app store on your iPhone.
  2. Search for keyword Microseven or m7cms
    (use links https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/m7cms-for-ip-camera-network/id581120751?mt=8)

  3. Tap the green button “BUY APP” when you found your app, installation process will go on automatically, then you just wait until it finish.

  4. When it is finished, M7CMS icon will be shown on your iPhone desktop.
  5. Now you tap on M7CMS icon to run M7CMS. When it is opened, you will see the list of cameras, there is only one camera in the list for giving you a demo. The name of this camera is Valley Blvd Walnut.

Step 2     Add Cameras to M7CMS.

There are 2 ways to add camera(s) to live cameras list.

2.1 The first method adding camera to app, you will do search camera and add it to list.

  1. To confirm your camera is powered on and working in your local area network (LAN).
  2. Tap M7CMS app icon to open M7CMS.
  3. Tap Search icon at the bottom of the page to do Camera Search, (at present, Microseven brand camera can be found in the app).

  4. Camera(s) can be found on the list if your Microseven camera(s) in your local area network.

  5. Tap the plus button to add camera in Camera Add page. Camera properties are filled up automatically by default. You may modify camera user ID and password for access if you have them other than default.

  6. Enter Camera Name as you wish.
  7. Camera Login is the place to access camera video, default user ID is admin and its password is password.
  8. Change camera User ID and Password if it is not by default.
  9. Tap ‘Done’ to confirm the settings. It will go back to Camera Add page.
  10. The camera will be added to the list.

2.2 The second method to add camera(s) to app, you will add camera without doing. The method for camera on the Internet or the camera you want to add is not Microseven brand camera that is RTSP protocol ready.

  1. Tap Add new icon at the bottom of the page to add a camera.

  2. Enter Camera Name.
  3. Enter IP address (this field can be local area network IP address, example 192.168.1.201 or it can be Internet IP address, if you have domain name of the camera address, you can enter the domain name, usually, people use dyndns.com name as their domain name. You can check site www.dyndns.org for reference).
  4. Enter video port, default video port for Microseven brand camera is 9960 (9660-9661)
  5. Enter RTSP port, this port is for this app use, default RTSP port is 554.
  6. Tap Camera Login.

  7. Camera Login page is opened.
  8. Enter your camera User ID and Password, default User ID is admin and default Password is password.
  9. Tap ‘Done’ to confirm the settings, a pop window Success is up. Tap OK.
  10. You can add more cameras as you want to.
  11. Tap Cameras icon at bottom of page. You will find the camera is added.

Step 3     View and Control Pan/Tilt/Zoom live camera in the app.

  1. Tap Cameras icon at bottom of page, you then go to Live Cameras page.

  2. There is a list of camera(s), then tap the camera you want to view. It will lead you to Live Camera View page.

    Tap PTZ Control icon at bottom of the page, the PTZ control panel will be activated. Now you can control the video pan/tilt/zoom to view camera.

    Tap PTZ Control icon at bottom of the page, the PTZ control panel will be activated. Now you can control the video pan/tilt/zoom to view camera.

    The icon functions of pan/tilt/zoom panel are:

    Iris +, Iris - Focus +, Focus -
    Zoom +, Zoom -
    To Up To Down
    To Left To Right
    Auto Rotate Start Auto Rotate Stop
    Auto Cruise Start Auto Cruise Stop
    Return to Preset Position
    Slider Rotate Speed Control Preset Position(001 – 255) Set Position, Recall Position

Step 4     Remove Camera from the List.

  1. Tap Cameras icon at bottom of page, you go to Live Camera page.

  2. Tap ‘Edit’; choose the camera from the list that you want to remove.

  3. Tap ‘Delete’ to remove the camera from the list.

1. Changed default open the app, there has no login pop window.
2. Add notes pop window when you use the app at very first time.
3. Fix the bug on camera locator, changed to 256 from 2000 to make program more stable in the code.

Changes has been made, to allow HD 720p M7 network camera in presets cruise compatible with regular D1 optical PTZ network camera using M7CMS v3.458.

To Fix Corrupted Video File From Recording

If you have find you recorded file has been corrupted by any reason, you may use tool to fix it. ONLY DO IT ONCE on bad corrupted video file.

“PRE” for preset position of pan, tilt and zoom setting up on PTZ high speed dome camera.

It has been added an icon on camera in camera list with on/off with crosshair (reticle) OSD (on-screen display) on screen.

Refer to Microseven M7CMS for Mac v1.0.1.

On Windows version, click on right mouse button on video in M7CMS, select Display crosshair / Hide crosshair.

On Mac version, click on crosshair display /hide icon on M7CMS.

To search camera IP address in local network, and modify camera IP address. To add camera IP address other than local IP address without searching to M7CMS. To view camera video live online using Mac. PTZ functions allow you remotely control pan, tilt, and zoom on Microseven IP cameras (Microseven network cameras). M7CMS is only working for Microseven IP cameras (Microseven network cameras) recently. To be able to edit OSD’ (On-screen display) name, date and time. Allow you to be able to set up camera’s network settings. To be able to change and modify video resolutions, and streaming type which primary and secondary streaming, and quality of video image. The feature of editing bitrate of video streaming is the best in this App. To be able to update new firmware features. To search Wi-Fi AP, allows you enter Wi-Fi encryption key to connect camera wirelessly.

1. Mac OS X 10.6 or greater
2. Only work for Microseven IP cameras (Microseven network cameras)
3. Do search cameras in local network, find cameras and add camera to M7CMS
4. Modify camera IP address
5. Control PTZ in M7CMS to remote camera pan, tilt, and zoom on your Mac working with Microseven PTZ IP cameras (Microseven network cameras)
5. Be able to change and modify video resolutions and update new firmware features.

This released version added audio, wireless/wifi, video and firmware updating functions.
