How To Fix The CamID Problem

To fix the CamID problem, steps:
1) Click the link and download the program to fix, https://www.microseven.com/download/1083D200XXXX-YYYY.zip
2) unzip it, after download on the local hard drive, click the 1083D200XXXX-YYYY.exe file to run.
3) The window opened, enter the camera IP address (MUST BE the missed CamID camera). HTTP Port is 80, username and password, then CLICK “Set”.
4) “Query” is to check if the CamID has been added.
5) Restart the camera, power off, then power on the camera.

How To Set Up The NVR v2

Hardware setup

1.


Get a monitor ready.

2.


Connect a HDMI cable to the NVR from the monitor.

3.


Connect an Ethernet cable to the NVR from router.
Connect a mouse to the USB on the NVR.

4.


Connect the power cord to NVR to start the boot screen and wait for 60 seconds.

5.


A blue multiple channels screen is ready. If the camera is a POE camera, you can now connect it to the one of ports via an Ethernet cable. If the camera is a wifi camera, you do not need to have a cable to connect to the NVR.

Software setup

Turn off the buzzer

1.


Go to monitor and use the mouse. Move the mouse to the top of the scressn, it is an information bar. You would choose 16:9 screen to setup the NVR display.

2.


Move the mouse on the monitor screen, and click on the right mouse button to bring up the configuration pop window. Click on ‘Configure’.

3.


Select ‘Eevnt Setup’, you are going to turn off the buzzer from the NVR if it is too noisy.

4.


Enter the password: ‘password’.
Default password is ‘password’.

5.


Go to the dropdown list at the left and top of the screen, choose ‘System’.

6.


Go to uncheck the ‘Buzzer’ to turn off the nosiy.

Adjust the monitor resolution as high as possibe

7.


Move the mouse on the monitor screen, and click on the right mouse button to bring up the configuration pop window. Click on ‘Configure’.

8.


Select ‘System Setup’, you are going to set up the monitor display resolution.

9.


Enter the password: ‘password’.
Default password is: ‘password’.

10.



click on ‘Monitor Setup …’ to open an adjust pop window.

11.


Adjust the monitor resolution.

Add a camera to the NVR and record the videos and save them on the hard drive disk. Use a WD purple surveillance HDD

12.


Move the mouse on the monitor screen, and click on the right mouse button to bring up the configuration pop window. Click on ‘Configure’.

13.


Select ‘Camera Setup’, you are going to add the first camera to NVR for recording.

14.


Enter the password: ‘password’.
Default password is: ‘password’.

15.


Click ‘Search’ icon to find cameras.

16.


The cameras found, click ‘+’ to add a camera below in the list.

17.


A camera is added. If the camera password needs to change, you can click ‘Edit’ to pop up the edit camera properties window.

18.


You can edit the camera settings in the ‘Modify Setting’ window.

19.


Add the first camera in the CH1 position on the display.

20.


The first camera is display on the CH1 on the monitor.

21.


Now we are going to add the second camera. Click ‘Search’ icon to find cameras.

22.


A camera is added. If the camera password needs to change, you can click ‘Edit’ to pop up the edit camera properties window.

23.


You can edit the camera settings in the ‘Modify Setting’ window.

24.


Add the second camera in the CH2 position on the display.

25.


The second camera is display on the CH2 on the monitor.

Software download and its use on Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS App

1.


Click the ‘Cam Locator’ icon on the desktop to open Cam Locator.

2.


Find cameras in the Cam Locator.

3.


Highlight the NVR IP address and click ‘Open’. You can find and download the NVR software for all the platform.

How To Make An SSL Private Key

How to make an SSL private key 

Export a private key from Certificate fold on your IIS server:
1) Click Start, and then search for Run.
2) Type in mmc and click OK
3) From the File menu, choose Add/Remove Snap-in.
4) Select Certificates and then Add.
5) Choose the Computer account option and click Next.
6) Select Local Computer and then click Finish.
7) Click Close, and then click OK. The snap-in for Certificates (Local Computer) appears in the console.

From the MMC console opened in the above steps:
1) Expand the Certificates (Local Computer) tree in the left preview panel.
2) Right-click Personal and select All Tasks > Import.
3) The Certificate Import Wizard appears. Click Next.
4) Browse to the location of your Server Certificate file and click Next.
5) Select Place all certificates in the following store and click Next.
6) Click Finish to complete the Certificate Import Wizard.
7) A dialog box appears indicating the import was successful. Click OK.

Next, convert .pfx format to .pem format using OpenSSL command in the terminal:
“openssl pkcs12 -in support.mydomain.com.pfx -out support.mydomain.com.pem -nodes”

How To Use A Camera Hotspot To Set Up WiFi Access

How to use a camera hotspot to setup WiFi access

To use hotspot in the camera for setting up the wifi, you MUST meet the requirement.
The wifi access MUST be the master password, NOT a guest account. 

The steps:
ON THE NEW CAMERA END:
1) Connect to a camera with a power supply, and wait for 1 minute.
2) Push the reset button, and hold for 1 minute.

ON YOUR IPHONE/ANDROID PHONE END:
1) Tap on the “Settings”
2) Tap on the “Wi-Fi”
3) Find the camera “Hotspot” -> starting with “1083D200….”
4) The password: ‘12345678’

ON THE APP, OPEN the App ‘Microseven’
1) Go to the app
2) Go to ‘Search Cameras’
3) To find the camera, or tap on the right ‘refresh’ icon
4) After finding the camera, tap on ‘WiFi Settings’
5) Enable wireless
5) Wireless mode select ‘Station’
6) Tap on find wifi SSID
7) Enter your own wifi router wifi SSID and password and tap on the checked mark to save

BACK TO THE IPHONE/ANDROID PHONE END, GO TO TAP ON ‘Settings’
1) Open ‘Settings”
2) Go to Wifi to select your WIFI 
3) Or you can use your data LTE or 4G

OPEN THE APP TO STREAM THE VIDEO from the camera.
