Step 1: Go to “CAMERA” and then “Email Settings”:
Enter the field information:
SMTP server name: smtp.gmail.com
Server port: 465
Encrypt type: SSL
Photo size: XL
Authentication: On
Username: It is your Gmail address
Password: This is an app password from your Gmail account. See “Step 2” to get an App password.
Sender: It is your Gmail address. It is the same as the “Username”.
Send to: It is an email address to which you want to send the alert.
Subject: An alert email subject.
Message: An alert email message.
Step 2: Log in to a Gmail account.
Step 3: After you log in to your account, click the link here: https://myaccount.google.com/apppasswords
If the link is not working, you can type it manually to the URL address on your browser: https://myaccount.google.com/apppasswords
Step 4: Enter the App name: microseven
Step 5: Click “Create” after you enter the “microseven”.
Step 6: A “Generated app password” pop window shows up, and you will copy the password and paste it to the “Password” field in the camera email settings page.
Step 7: A “microseven” app password is created.
Step 8: Click “Test” if “Test passed,” then click “APPLY”.
