I am using Zoneminder V 1.29 and cannot get these setting to work with a M7B57-WPS 3MP. I can get a stream with VLC fine via RSTP. Your suggestion above does not work with this combo…log says “Unable to open input rtsp://admin:[email protected]:554 due to: No such file or directory”.
Any suggestions?

Image freezes issue is from network connectivity. I do not think is from libvlc or ffmpeg. If you have WiFi and connection is not well connected, it will have the problem.
I have been using it with zonemider for a few months. It is best to use with libvlc not ffmpeg. Also I have to reset the ZM interface every 24 hours, because the image freezes. I did not have this issue with ffmpeg, But I had imaging artifacts with ffmpeg.
